How to use Zerodha Margin Calculator?
The process of using Zerodha Margin Calculator is very simple.
1st Step – Select a Segment, i.e. Intraday, Delivery, Currency, Commodity, Futures or Options.
2nd Step – Select a Scrip, You can select any Scrip or Share which is available in the dropdown.
3rd Step – Input your Margin Amount. Here, you can enter the Margin amount available with you for Investment.
4th Step – Share Price. Input Share price of the Selected Stock or Share, so that you get the proper value. Just search on Google, you will find it.
5th Step – Calculate – Click on the Calculate button.
Once you click on the calculation button, you will get following details –
Exposure Margin – This is total amount of Margin that Zerodha will provide, if you invest in a particular stock / share / currency / commodity / futures / options of your choice. Generally for high preforming scrips, Zerodha provides higher margin
Shares can be bought – This is the total number of particular share or scrip that can be bought by the client using Zerodha’s Margin. By using Zerodha’s Limit you can invest in more number of shares & can earn more profits
Remember – Zerodha charges 18% + GST on the Leverage provided to the clients. The percentage sometimes varies if there is any promotion going on.
